Vice President of Sales, Light Industrial Staffing
Job Description
Our client is seeking a hands-on, execution-oriented Vice President of Sales to spearhead a rebuild/scale of their sales function across Georgia. This is a true, hands on builder role for a leader who can personally produce while designing the activity, cadence, and team structure required to drive new growth.
This is the right seat for a sales leader who wants to build something meaningful, operate as a true partner to the CEO, and directly shape the growth plan then participate materially in the upside.
What you’ll do:
- Re-establish consistent new business development production and pipeline creation across multiple GA markets.
- Build and enforce a high-activity, high-accountability sales operating rhythm (calls, meetings, proposals, closes).
- Develop a repeatable sales process that performs in today’s market.
- Deliver enough traction to confidently add headcount (milestone-based growth plan: “hit X ? hire a sales rep,” etc.).
Responsibilities:
- Own overall sales strategy and execution for industrial staffing in Georgia.
- Act as a player/coach: lead from the front by opening doors, getting in front of clients, and closing business.
- Establish clear expectations around outbound activity and revenue outcomes; inspect what you expect.
- Partner directly with the CEO as a senior leader (positioned as a C-suite-impact role).
- Build the blueprint for a scalable sales org: territory/market coverage, pipeline standards, metrics, team structure, and hiring plan.
What you need:
- Proven staffing industry sales leadership background (industrial staffing strongly preferred).
- Demonstrated ability to build (not inherit) a sales function: Process + execution.
- A true executor who thrives in a hands-on role and can produce while building.
- Deep understanding of Georgia market dynamics; can ramp quickly without relying on “I have relationships” as the only value prop.
- Comfortable with a culture that’s family-centric, but expects focus and intensity during work hours.
