Vice President of Sales, Commercial Staffing - North Carolina
Our client is currently seeking a dynamic Sales Leader to join their team in North Carolina, specifically in the Triad - Greensboro, Winston-Salem, and High Point areas.The ideal candidate will be a player-coach leader who is hands-on and eager to build out capabilities for securing larger deals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Leads a small sales team and drives new sales primarily, focusing on acquiring new clients and expanding business opportunities.
- Responsible for sales, account management, and potentially marketing functions over time.
- Member of the Executive Team, contributing to strategic decision-making and growth initiatives.
- Manages a sales bucket targeting deals of $10 million and above, as well as deals ranging from $5-10 million.
- Oversees remote business in Florida, Pennsylvania, and Georgia, with offices in North Carolina and Southwestern Virginia.
- Directly manages two salespeople initially, with immediate opportunities for team expansion.
- Collaborates with existing staff and service delivery teams to ensure seamless operations and client satisfaction.
Compensation:
- Base salary of $140,000 with additional incentives tied to new business and growth targets.
- Incentive plan based on a percentage of gross profit dollars, with potential for additional bonuses for exceeding targets.
- Expected minimum annual sales target of $525,000 in gross profit.
- Mileage reimbursement for travel expenses.

She has been with MeeDerby for nearly 7 years now and has risen to Associate Director where she manages a recruiting team and manages her own desk.
