Vice President of Human Resources, Healthcare Staffing

Our client is seeking an experienced and strategic Vice President of Human Resources to lead all HR functions across corporate and multi-state field operations. Reporting directly to the President/CEO, this leader will shape people strategy, strengthen organizational performance, ensure compliance, and build a high-performing culture that supports continued growth.

What You'll Do:
  • Lead all Human Resources operations across corporate and field employees.
  • Develop and execute HR strategies aligned with business objectives and growth.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to executive leadership on workforce planning, organizational development, and employee engagement.
  • Lead and mentor the HR team, fostering accountability and continuous improvement.
  • Oversee employee relations, investigations, performance management, and policy administration.
  • Direct compensation, benefits, leave programs, workers' compensation, and unemployment processes.
  • Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local employment laws.
  • Partner with operational leaders on recruiting, retention, leadership development, and workforce planning.
  • Analyze HR metrics to improve organizational effectiveness and employee retention.
  • Oversee HRIS, reporting, and employee data integrity.
  • Support strategic initiatives, process improvements, and organizational growth.


What you need:
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of progressive HR leadership experience managing exempt and non-exempt teams.
  • Strong knowledge of multi-state employment law, compliance, and HR best practices.
  • Experience leading employee relations, compensation, benefits, workers' compensation, and compliance programs.
  • Proven ability to drive organizational change and build high-performing teams.
  • Strong leadership, communication, conflict resolution, and analytical skills.
  • Experience using HR data and metrics to influence business decisions.
  • Expert user of Excel
  • Healthcare staffing, healthcare, or multi-site workforce experience is preferred.
