Vice President of Growth, Federal Government, IT Staffing


Our client is an IT Staffing solutions company focused in the Federal Space, looking for a strategic and driven Vice President of Growth to lead their efforts in expanding our presence across the federal government market.

This executive leader will be responsible for driving net-new business by sourcing, qualifying, and closing new logos, while shaping the company's overall sales strategy and building lasting partnerships across agencies and industry.

As VP of Growth, you will serve as a key member of the executive team, overseeing the growth organization, managing team performance, and leading go-to-market strategies that align with their mission to deliver agile, innovative human capital and digital transformation solutions to the federal government.

Primary Focus Areas
  • Net-New Business Development: Lead efforts to identify, qualify, and secure new contract opportunities, with a focus on expanding into new agencies and sectors.
  • Sales Strategy & Execution: Develop and implement comprehensive growth strategies, including sales processes, team performance management, and pipeline health.
  • Strategic Partnerships & Teaming: Build and nurture key partnerships, teaming relationships, and alliances to strengthen our market positioning and enhance solution offerings.
  • Agency & Sector Expansion: Identify and evaluate new agency targets and mission areas that align with the company Gov's strategic growth goals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead, coach, and manage a high-performing growth team.
  • Set and monitor sales KPIs, manage pipeline metrics, and ensure accountability across the growth organization.
  • Oversee opportunity pursuit from qualification through proposal submission, ensuring high-quality, compliant, and competitive bids.
  • Collaborate closely with delivery, solutioning, pricing, and recruiting teams to shape winning solutions and go-to-market strategies.
  • Provide market intelligence, competitive positioning, and customer insights to inform strategic decisions.
  • Represent the company Gov in key industry forums, partner events, and customer engagements to enhance brand presence.
  • Develop and execute a broader teaming strategy that complements internal capabilities and supports long-term growth.
  • Continuously assess market trends, federal budgets, and procurement forecasts to proactively position the company Gov for success.
