VP, Industry Leader, Government Services - Fairfax, VA
This person will drive gross contribution/revenue growth within the federal sector through account penetration and saturation. He or She oversees the business development and management activities of the sales team while also serving as a key point of contact with key client partners.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Business Development:
- Achieve industry strategic account GC goals.
- Prospect and penetrate accounts within the designated industry.
- Ensure industry saturation through account and GC growth.
- Develop and maintain long-term business relationships with key executives on target accounts.
- Ensure customer satisfaction.
- Develop and execute strategy for account saturation.
- Win a majority of proposals.
- Support account managers in the development of new business.
- Act as a trusted advisor to senior executives within industry focus and accounts.
QUALIFICATIONS

Prerequisites:
- Must have prior experience staffing for Government Contracts/Government agencies.
- Prior experience working with significant system integrators providing IT consulting/services to the government.
- Understanding of Cleared Requirements/cleared Resources.
- Minimum ten years of professional sales experience.
- Experience with segmenting accounts by industry and developing multiple accounts.
- Track record of working independently.
- Working knowledge of supervisory principles and practices to effectively manage a team.
- Demonstrated ability to successfully interface with all levels of the organization and accounts.
- Working knowledge of MS Office products.
- Ability to travel (50%).
- Ability to maintain regular attendance at work and all hours necessary or required.
