Must have Staffing industry experience and Transportation staffing industry experience a plus.
Our client, a private equity-backed company that is positioned at the center of the truck driver shortage crisis in the US, is seeking a Vice President, Solution Selling to lead efforts to grow the market share of enterprise customers with an emphasis on driver workforce outsourcing solutions.
Our client is uniquely positioned to serve carriers through its massive and proprietary network of licensed CDL drivers, including drivers sourced through its network of CDL schools and relationship with the US military. The company serves all sizes of carriers with solutions that range from qualified lead generation to short-term flex staffing to full driver workforce outsourcing. This role will report to the President.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead all sales efforts for our portfolio of outsourcing solutions, including Managed Workforce, RPO, and MSP with primary focus on new logo enterprise sales in private and for-hire carriers.
- Work with product and marketing teams to continually review, update, and improve our outsourced offerings and messaging.
- Work with marketing and account management teams to identify and target current and inactive customers with offering. Partner with account executives to meet decisionmakers, understand needs, and present offerings.
- Work with field sales team to generate qualified opportunities for new logo acquisition and partner with field team members to close deals.
- Work with marketing and inside sales team on MQLs and SQLs coming from lead gen and other outreach efforts.
- Represent client at major Trucking and Logistics events to present solutions and to meet current customers and prospects.
Requirements:
- Minimum 8 years selling high-value enterprise solutions in the staffing industry.
- Staffing industry experience is required. Knowledge of transportation and logistics is preferred, but not required.
- Strong background of “hunting” with success in both acquiring new logos and growing existing accounts.
- Experience working with C-Suite level decisionmakers.
- Strong ability to work in consultative model with customers and prospects with focus on clearly understanding needs and ability to clearly articulate benefits.
- Experience working with CRM systems (Salesforce, HubSpot, Bullhorn, etc.).
What you will get:
- Base compensation 150-180k with ote in the 300k+ range.
