Selling Branch Manager, Creative Staffing - Philadelphia, PA

The Selling Branch Manager is responsible for all aspects of branch performance with regard to revenue growth, profitability, employee development, culture and service excellence. The Selling Branch Manager is actively engaged in market development through cold calling, client visits, networking and successfully providing creative, marketing and digital staffing solutions.

Business Development Responsibilities:
  • The Selling Branch Manager will run a personal sales desk and is responsible for further development of existing clients as well as prospecting and selling to new clients.
  • Make a high volume of telephone prospecting calls, follow up on warm leads, email marketing, networking, client meetings and client drop offs to generate business.
  • Meet  weekly activity and outcome metrics and goals.
  • Continuously develop  a pipeline of prospective clients.

Branch / Staff Management Responsibilities:
  • Actively lead  revenue-generating activities and set  the tone as an involved Selling Branch Manager.
  • Hire, mentor, motivate, train, and evaluate  branch employees. 
  • Create  and maintain  a positive culture reflective of the company’ s values.
  • Conduct  regular 1-1 meetings with all direct reports.
  • Strive  for service excellence and talent and client loyalty to assist branch. 
  • Monitor and provide  feedback to staff on their weekly/monthly goals. This includes ensuring all employees meet weekly activity metrics.
  • Oversee  the classification of company call cycles while following the company' s sales  process.
  • Cultivate  and distribute  new leads to Business Development Managers.
  • Attend  client meetings with Business Development Managers to conduct consultative meetings with contacts to introduce staffing services, evaluate staffing needs and uncover account potential.
  • Lead  open order meetings and ensure  open orders are prioritized appropriately and filled in a timely manner.
  • Lead  sourcing, recruiting, hiring and talent placements within branch.
  • Monitor  interview schedule to ensure candidate flow matches anticipated openings.
  • Interview  candidates and fill  orders in the absence of Recruiter.
  • Service  all branch clients in the absence of Business Development Manager(s).
  • Continually educate  oneself on both the staffing and the creative industries through industry publications, online research, association events and competitor sites on recruitment best practices, staffing industry news and information specific to the core areas in which we do business.
  • Collaborate  with management on strategic and tactical sales initiatives to further identify opportunities in the marketplace.
  • Negotiate  terms of staffing contracts, placement fees and bill rates.
  • Perform  regular quality control checks with clients to ensure our value of Service Excellence is being met.
  • Work  with Controller to approve all new business credit extensions in the branch.
  • Work with internal corporate departments for marketing campaigns, accounting details, IT issues and other special projects.
  • Manage  the branch P&L to ensure profitability targets are met.
  • Perform other duties and projects as required.
