Selling Branch Manager, Commercial Staffing - Buffalo, NY

Our client, one of the largest Commercial Staffing Firms in the United States, is looking for a Branch Manager for their Buffalo, NY office! This is a player/coach role.   • Create, maintain and increase branch profitability by maximizing sales revenue and reducing operating costs of the office.  
  • Maintain  client relationships and recognize opportunities with existing accounts for higher revenue.
  • Provide  overall direction to the sales and recruiting team through strategy, oversight, training, mentoring and leading by example and developing a highly effective staffing sales and recruiting team. 
  • Coach  and counsel  performance of both branch staff members as well as  temporary workforce.
  • Maintain  responsibility for the branch’ s Profit and Loss (P&L) and budget, administer  expense controls and approve  all expenses.
  • Responsible for recruiting, hiring, training, supervising and developing branch staff to create strong team members to contribute to the success and growth of the branch.

  • Bachelor’ s Degree in Business Administration or related discipline preferred
  • An equivalent combination of education and work experience may be considered
  • 5+ years proven and successful direct sales and P&L experience preferably within Staffing
  • Relevant leadership experience required
  • Demonstrated success leading staffing sales and recruiting team that achieves revenue and profit expectations
  • 2+ years managing operating unit experience with indirect supervisory responsibility required, preferably in the staffing industry
  • Recruiting experience within the staffing industry.
  • Must possess excellent communication (verbal and written), interpersonal and analytical skills
  • Must have the ability to speak clearly and persuasively in a public or private setting
  • Must maintain highly sensitive and confidential information
  • Must demonstrate ability to multi-task and possess strong organizational skills
  • Must demonstrates flexibility, openness, respect and sensitivity in dealing with others
  • Must possess maturity, judgment and consultative ability to interact effectively with employees and clients
  • Must possess strong customer service and selling skills
  • Must demonstrate ability to build morale and group commitments to goals and objectives
  • Must possess proficient computer skills (Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
  • CPC, CTS, CSP designations a plus
