Position Overview:
Responsible for answering phones, providing customer service, and cold calling prospective business leads and external candidates. Assist in the day-to-day operations of our clients including but not limited to; sales, payroll, human resources, recruiting, scheduling, and support for the team.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement overall recruiting strategy.
- Consult with managers to discover staff requirements and specific job objectives.
- Write and post job descriptions on career websites, and universities boards.
- Source candidates by using databases and social media and job boards.
- Evaluate and screen resumes and cover letters.
- Conduct phone, Zoom and/or in-person interview.
- Help the hiring team with recruiting methods and interview questions.
- Contact new employees and prepare onboarding sessions and post hire.
- Prepare new hire paperwork ensuring legislation requirements are met.
- Maintain a complete record of interviews and new hires.
- Stay up-to-date with current recruiting methods.
- Calling upon current and potential customers to generate new business.
- Making 60 plus calls a day to ensure full calendar, heavy phone, email and texting for potential candidates.
Skills
- Excellent communication skills.
- Ability to prioritize and complete projects within deadline.
- Hands on experience with various selection processes like phone interviews and reference checks.
- Ability to conduct different types of interviews (e.g. structured, competency based and behavioral).
- Familiarity with HR databases, applicant tracking systems and candidate management systems.
- Familiarity with social media, especially LinkedIn.
