Procurement Manager, Workforce Solutions - Philadelphia, PA

In this role, you will partner with the category lead and stakeholders to drive business enablement, compliance, supplier diversity, vendor management and cost optimization. Additionally, the candidate will lead, recommend, and present new solutions to streamline and integrate the overall user experience. Working closely with key stakeholders across various business units, the role will provide strategic and tactical benefits to the team and wider organization. The benefits include a better alignment of business objectives and sourcing processes, informed demand forecast and supply availability, optimized supply base and risk mitigation, shorter sourcing time, high-quality services, and cost efficiency.

Core Responsibilities Include:
  • Provide thought leadership and execution of the contingent labor category.
  • Develop and execute category management strategies in collaboration with category leads and key stakeholders, inclusive of needs analysis, sourcing, contracting, negotiation and vendor management for professional services and external workforce solutions.
  • Create and support short- and long-term sourcing plans and vendor strategies in partnership with the category lead and key stakeholders, which includes the business, finance, MSP, and procurement.
  • Manage and support cross functional teams throughout the sourcing, negotiation, contracting and vendor management processes.
  • Collaborate and partner across various legal, compliance and risk mitigation departments to ensure adherence with respective policies and achievement of relevant and favorable contractual terms.
  • Identify and act, in collaboration with category lead, on opportunities for process re-engineering and continuous improvement.
  • Lead special projects identified as part of category planning and procurement initiatives. Drive the programs from start to finish, including identifying processes, deadlines, and milestones, stakeholder management, reporting. 

Qualifications:
  • Minimum seven years of relevant strategic sourcing and contracting experience in the professional services space where duties included category planning, sourcing, and experience with Managed Services Partner (MSP)
  • Managing complex engagements, supplier, and contract management.
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college within relevant discipline.
  • Experience working in a fast-paced, high-volume work environment, ability to deal with ambiguity.
  • Proven experience managing operations and leading transformational programs.
  • Deep knowledge of external workforce solutions and global supply chain for contingent workforce market and analytics.
  • A proven track record of negotiating large, complex contracts with favorable prices, terms, and conditions.
  • Strong interpersonal, collaborative, and influencing skills to effectively navigate a complex management and organization structure with a high degree of ambiguity.
  • Demonstrated analytical, financial, problem solving, organization, and project management skills to include stakeholder and meeting facilitation skills and the highest ethical standards with a strong moral compass and a constant focus on doing what is right.
  • Must be willing to work in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
