Managing Vice President – IT Staffing & Services
New York City Metro / Remote



Our client is seeking a dynamic and entrepreneurial Managing Vice President to spearhead their IT Staffing & Services practice in the New York City metro area. This executive role is ideal for a leader with a proven track record in building and scaling high-performing teams, driving substantial revenue growth, and establishing a strong market presence in the IT staffing industry.

Key Responsibilities

Market Expansion & Leadership:
  • Establish and grow a $10M+ IT staffing and services region within 3 years.
  • Lead the development and execution of strategic plans to penetrate and expand in the New York City metro and Tri-State areas.

Sales & Revenue Generation:
  • Achieve a personal sales quota of $3M+ in the first year with a focus on expanding current client relationships and signing new logos.
  • Drive 20%+ year-over-year revenue growth through new client acquisition and expansion of existing accounts.
  • Leverage expertise in various client engagement models, including Direct Hire, Contingent Labor (Client & MSP-Driven), and SOW (Time & Materials, Fixed Fee/Outcome-Based).

Team Building & Management:
  • Recruit, develop, and retain a high-performing team of Account Executives and Delivery leaders.
  • Foster a culture of accountability, continuous learning, and excellence.
  • Implement consultative sales methodologies (e.g., MEDDIC, Challenger, Sandler) to enhance team performance.

Client Relationship Management:
  • Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers in Fortune 5000 and SMB accounts.
  • Ensure client satisfaction and retention through exceptional service delivery and strategic partnership.

Operational Excellence:
  • Oversee full P&L responsibilities, including budgeting, forecasting, and margin optimization.
  • Implement KPI-driven management practices to monitor and enhance performance.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to align operations with organizational goals.

Qualifications
  • Minimum of 10 years in IT staffing and services, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role.
  • Demonstrated success in building and scaling a $5M+ book of business.
  • Proven ability to develop and promote team members into leadership positions.
  • Strong consultative sales skills with proficiency.
  • Exceptional leadership and team-building capabilities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strategic thinker with a hands-on approach to problem-solving.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Technology, or a related field; MBA or equivalent preferred.
