Chief Operating Officer, IT Consulting and Offshore Project Solutions 

Hybrid work model but candidate should be located NY/NJ/CT.

Impactful leader needed for our client; a minority owned/woman owned consulting company that specializes in delivering innovative software solutions. Responsible for overall Strategic growth and overseeing the company’s daily operations.

Our client’s experience is across industry sectors and their customer-centric approach enables them to provide full-cycle software development services that adapt to project demands and business needs, from IT strategy consulting and comprehensive technology roadmaps to the end-to-end development of scalable solutions. They support IT Staff Augmentation, near shore and outsourcing services.

Some of the duties and responsibilities include:
  • Reviewing the efficiency of current business functions, planning changes and updates to day-to-day operations, and collaborating with other executive staff to set and meet business objectives.
  • Develop business plans, strategies, processes, and procedures aligning with company mission to achieve the desired growth and objectives.
  • Managing all daily operations & functions of the company with an emphasis on sales operations.
  • Mentor and Manage business development teams and execute strategies to increase account intelligence and develop business with new and existing clients.
  • Preparing and presenting business performance and working with the executive team to set company performance goals. 
  • Identify, cultivate, and provide opportunities for rising talent within the organization. 
  • Collaborate and coordinate with offshore and multisite management team.

Desired Experience:
  • Minimum of 5 years’ leadership experience in an IT Services & Consulting firm and must have worked managing offshore operations. Preference is for the individual to have worked in all aspects of Sales development life cycle, Sales pipelining, Marketing, Business development and Sales roles extensively. 
  • Be passionate, demonstrate leadership and client centric, delivering innovative solutions approach to growing business. 
  • Must have extensive experience in Wide range of Technology services such as End to end project services, Outsourcing, IT support services, Staff augmentation etc. 
  • Be a visionary leader who understands that technology is not just a tool; it's a strategic enabler. 
  • Experience working with delivering solutions and services in digital technologies and experience working with clients in the BFSI, Retail, Healthcare, Manufacturing, Technology, Consumer goods verticals is highly desired. 
  • Adept to demonstrate flexibility and comfort in a fast-paced environment and outstanding verbal and written communication skills.

What you will get:
  • Compensation commensurate with experience. Salary high six figures + additional incentive to include commission/bonus and eligibility for Leadership Stock Options (TBD after 1 year’s performance evaluation).
