Our client, a highly reputable and well-established NYC-based staffing firm is looking for a Managing Director to lead and grow their Legal division. This is a FANTASTIC opportunity to walk into a fully functioning and high-producing team that is excited for continued growth!
What you’ll do:
- Daily leadership of your team including hiring, training and developing sales and recruiting personnel.
- Nurturing client relationships; interviewing, networking and interfacing with C-level clients and other hiring authorities to market and place top-tier candidates into contract and direct hire positions.
- Interface with both Government and Private practice entities with a focus on placing attorneys, paralegals, and legal support staff.
- P&L responsibility of annual revenue in excess of $25M and growing.
- Run analytics on in-demand practice areas/market trends in legal and work with the Recruiting Manager to ensure recruiters are building candidate pool and providing leads respectively.
- Assure proper documentation of calls and activities.
- Partner with hiring managers to understand their talent needs and consult on how to best attract and hire the talent they seek.
- Network and source to identify and recruit the top talent in the legal landscape.
What you need:
- Strong sales acumen and experience in client presentation and negotiation.
- 5+ years staffing experience in the legal industry highly preferred with 3+ years leadership.
- Ability to work well and collaboratively with others.
- Understand how your position relates to other positions in the company and contribute to company’s overall effectiveness.
- Bachelor’s Degree required; Juris Doctorate preferred.
