Senior Sales/MSP Business Developer
Our client is looking for a Senior Sales/MSP Business Developer, with a proven track record in the sales and new account development, to help grow our services business as a Managed Services Provider (MSP) for the Contingent Workforce/Staffing Solutions.
You will deliver on personal targets in terms of new business development, sales, and customer acquisition, all for the MSP area. This will include a comprehensive sales activity lifecycle, including building and maintaining a sales funnel (e.g., via identifying prospects and developing leads through industry contacts, networking, trade shows, referrals, additional marketing efforts, etc.); developing and making presentations to senior level decision makers within prospects considering MSP services; developing account penetration strategies for target prospects; and helping position the company as a preferred provider of MSP services.
The candidate should have resourcefulness and in-depth knowledge of the MSP business, including knowledge of “ tools of the trade” and partnerships, and should be able to contribute to the enhancement of existing/new processes for sales and business development for MSP services. The position will also include responsibility for developing materials in response to proposals, RFIs, RFPs, and conducting market research analysis.
Within an overall 10+ years of sales experience, the candidate should have at least 6+ years' of experience specifically selling and developing new business/accounts in the MSP area. The candidate is expected to travel when required to potential customer locations and networking events to support lead generation, sales funnel development, customer presentations, engagement implementation, and ongoing relationship building.
