This position will be analytical, innovative, and business oriented; helping to launch new operations in 90 days while stabilizing the operation and training an incoming team that will lead the operation longer term.   Continuously improve current operations, tools, and implement best practices to address business challenges across new and sometimes existing operations.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Manage and execute multiple concurrent start ups/projects, present information effectively, and establish effective relationships with other colleagues at all levels of the organization
  • Lead new business implementation teams to include the core Strike Team and additional SMEs (site specific and corporate resources) as needed for various tasks and stages of the start-up
  • Design standard implementation framework based on current leading practices and train the strike team on a consistent process to start-up/launch new operations
  • Develop internal PM methodologies, organizations competencies and best practices
  • Lead a new start-up operation from receipt of new business to stabilization (typically 3-6 months)
  • Ensure seamless transition to local leadership team who will take over the operation longer term
  • Design and Manage start-ups from key tasks, milestones, resources and timeline to meet contract deliverables to the client as well as the company' s business objectives
  • Participate in annual budget development
  • Focus on execution and getting results with high accountability and transparency
  • Regularly communicate with and update customers on a strategic level to ensure and maintain exceptional levels of customer service and contract adherence
  • Review financial reports monthly for performance compliance and expense control and track the ROI KPI achievement of start up projects
  • Ensure site operations are properly staffed, cross training initiatives are implemented and development plans are clear
  • Communicate and enforce company policies and procedures when needed

REQUIREMENTS:
  • Bachelor’ s Degree
  • Masters' degree or equivalent (not required for this role but beneficial for career progression (preferred)
  • 3+ years of management/supervisory experience
  • 3+ years of direct client customer service
  • 10+ years of staffing and/or manufacturing experience
  • Up to 75% travel required
  • PMP Certified (if not certified, will be expected to get certified within 1 yr of employment) (preferred)
  • Staffing industry, manufacturing, HR or production supervisor experience (preferred)
  • Lean Manufacturing, Greenbelt/Blackbelt Certified, or Root cause analysis training/experience (preferred)
