Location: Hybrid; must be based in Charlotte, NC, Dallas, TX, or Phoenix, AZ
Territory: National

Compensation: Base salary + uncapped commission and bonus opportunities


Position Overview

The Full Desk Recruiter will support national growth initiatives by driving direct hire recruitment within the construction sector for our client. This role combines new business development, client management, and full-cycle permanent placement recruiting, with full ownership of both the client and candidate lifecycle.

This position is designed for an experienced construction recruiter who has successfully placed candidates into permanent, direct hire roles and understands the long-term impact of quality placements on client operations and candidate careers.


Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and manage a personal book of business focused exclusively on direct hire construction placements.

  • Identify, pursue, and secure new client relationships while expanding existing accounts.

  • Partner with construction clients to understand permanent hiring needs, project demands, and workforce planning.

  • Execute full-cycle direct hire recruiting, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and offer negotiation.

  • Build and maintain a pipeline of qualified construction professionals for permanent roles.

  • Coordinate interviews, skills assessments, reference checks, and background verifications.

  • Represent the company at industry events, job fairs, and networking functions.

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date pipeline, candidate, and client data within ATS and CRM systems.

  • Consistently meet or exceed production, revenue, and placement goals.


Qualifications

  • Required: Proven experience placing candidates into direct hire / permanent roles within the construction industry.

  • Background must include construction staffing or construction-focused recruiting; temp-only or non-construction experience will not be considered.

  • Full desk recruiting or staffing sales experience required.

  • Demonstrated ability to develop client relationships and deliver permanent placement solutions.

  • Strong communication, relationship-building, and negotiation skills.

  • Analytical and solution-oriented approach to recruiting.

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, performance-driven environment.

  • Proficiency with ATS and CRM platforms.

  • Comfortable using Microsoft Office or similar business tools.

  • Self-directed, accountable, and results-oriented.
