Director of Talent Acquisition, Healthcare Staffing Fort Lauderdale, FL

The Director of Talent Acquisition develops and executes strategic recruitment plans, manages the talent acquisition team, builds strong employer brands, and oversees the entire hiring process to attract and secure top-quality candidates that align with organizational goals.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement overarching talent acquisition strategies and multi-year hiring plans aligned with business growth objectives.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop a team of recruiters. Foster a high-performance culture and provide ongoing training on best practices.
  • Oversee the entire recruitment process, including sourcing, candidate screening, interviewing, selection, offer negotiation, and onboarding.
  • Lead and execute recruitment for critical and senior-level positions within the organization.
  • Develop and execute initiatives to strengthen the company's employer brand and employee value proposition (EVP) to attract top-tier candidates.
  • Define and monitor key recruitment metrics, such as time-to-fill and cost-per-hire and use data to provide actionable insights to leadership.
  • Manage relationships and performance with external recruitment agencies, sourcing partners, and technology vendors.
  • Ensure all hiring practices and processes comply with relevant labor laws and regulations.
  • Partner with other departments to understand specific talent needs and align recruitment efforts with the goals of the wider organization.

Education and/or Work Experience Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in human resources, business administration, or a related field is required.
  • 7 to 10+ years of experience in talent acquisition or recruitment, with significant prior experience in a leadership role.
  • Proven experience with applicant tracking systems (ATS), HR information systems (HRIS), and other recruitment technologies.
  • Deep understanding of employer branding and talent sourcing techniques.
  • Strong team management abilities, experience with change management, and the capacity to motivate and mentor a team.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to present reports and strategy effectively to senior stakeholders.
  • Strong interpersonal skills for building and maintaining relationships with both internal stakeholders and external partners.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.

Additional Information:
  • $150K - $165K base + potential incentives (TBD)
