Director of Sales, Staffing
Job Description
We are looking for a strategic and results-oriented Director of Sales to lead sales efforts in temporary staffing, direct hire staffing, and Managed Service Provider (MSP) solutions. This role will oversee a team of 10 sales representatives, driving revenue growth and enhancing client relationships within these segments.
What you’ll do:
- Develop and implement a targeted sales strategy for temporary staffing, direct hire staffing, and MSP services to meet and exceed revenue goals.
- Lead, mentor, and inspire a team of 10 sales representatives, fostering a culture of high performance and accountability.
- Partner with Operations/Delivery Teams to fulfill customer needs.
- Identify, engage, and cultivate relationships with potential enterprise clients to understand their staffing needs and deliver customized solutions.
- Maintain strong partnerships with key decision-makers and stakeholders in client organizations, ensuring satisfaction and retention.
- Collaborate with marketing and operational teams to align sales strategies with service offerings and market demands.
- Monitor industry trends and competitor activities to identify opportunities for expansion and innovation.
- Prepare and present comprehensive sales forecasts, performance reports, and insights to senior management.
- Stay informed about the latest developments in staffing solutions and client challenges in the temporary and direct hire markets.
What you need:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field; MBA is a plus.
- 7+ years of sales experience with a focus on temporary staffing, direct hire staffing, and MSP services.
- Proven track record of achieving and surpassing sales targets.
- Strong leadership skills with experience managing sales teams.
- Exceptional communication, negotiation, and relationship management abilities.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, results-driven environment.
- Able to work projects to completion.
- Capacity to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize according to needs.
- Ability to work independently as well as all levels of staff.
- Must be self-motivated and ability to work with diverse personalities in a dynamic and demanding environment.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Extremely polished and professional.
