DIRECTOR OF IT - SKILLED TRADES STAFFING - VIRTUAL IN THE US
MUST HAVE 7-10 YEARS STAFFING INDUSTRY EXPERIENCE LEADING IT
REMOTE ROLE IN THE US
Our client, one of the largest Skilled Trades Staffing Firm is looking for an IT Leader to join their team. This role will be responsible for partnering with key stakeholders to develop organizational vision, strategy, and implementation priorities for IT infrastructure, new technologies and services to support a company focused on continuous growth. Must be willing to roll up your sleeves to help drive and manage system implementations, recommend new tech, implement security measures, etc. Provide strategic vision and expertise to build client's IT program, adding internal resources and outsourcing support as appropriate.
What you will do:
- Create and customize technology systems for optimized performance, including developing and documenting systems and processes for effective utilization
- Establish and maintain partnerships with key technology vendors, solution integrators, and strategic advisors to ensure strong relationships throughout all phases of the vendor and project lifecycles (leveraging knowledge and experience to ensure effective negotiations)
- Collaborate with multiple internal teams and third-party vendors to plan, design, and execute projects that support organizational goals
- Develop, implement, and monitor an enterprise information security and risk management program to include areas such as vulnerability scans, cybersecurity gap analysis, etc.
- Ensure technology processes comply with all requirements, laws, and regulations
- Establish, communicate, and enforce clear IT guidelines and policies (e.g., user access, security, support, device configuration, etc.) based on industry best practices
- Ensure the continual functioning, security and privacy of critical operations, systems and applications, to include the development of an effective disaster recovery plan
- Manage IT Team members, providing leadership and guidance on system development priorities, selection and implementation of new tools and integrations, and establishment of best practices related to use of various IT applications, including: Salesforce, Bullhorn, Staffing Engine, Staffing Referrals, TextUs, Cloud Call, HubSpot, Paylocity & MS365.
- Pioneers the optimization of work processes by seeking ways to improve processes, from small tweaks to compelling reengineering.
- Builds partnerships and works collaboratively with other leaders and internal customers to meet shared objectives.
- Will have an adaptive approach and demeanor in real time to match the shifting demands of different situations.
- As a member of the Leadership Team will be expected to contribute to both IT as well as overall leadership strategy.

- All other duties as assigned.
What we’re looking for:
- Ten+ years of proven experience in an IT leadership role in the staffing industry
- Experience with Bullhorn and their marketplace partners, MS365, SalesForce
- Demonstrated project management and organizational change management at VP or Director level
- Successful implementation and enhancement of critical systems
- Proven ability to effectively direct multiple projects with competing resources and deadlines
- Strong communication and collaboration skills with end users and stakeholders
- Ability to be a “big picture” thinker while also being an effective “hands-on” practitioner
- Experience supporting the security and productivity of a national remote workforce
