Director of Business Development, Staffing
MUST HAVE STAFFING INDUSTRY EXPERIENCE
Raleigh NC preferred
Our client, a nation-wide staffing company that leverages its proprietary staffing platform and other applicable technology, to provide local retail and merchandising temporary and long-term staffing to major national retail clients in all 50 states is looking for a Director of Business Development.
You will be responsible for driving Enterprise sales utilizing innovative and aggressive out-of-the-box strategies. Some travel will be required.
What you will do:
- Close new business by cold calling, marketing, and networking
- Create and nurture new business opportunities and partnerships
- Perform to sales goals by building a short/medium/long-term sales pipeline in accordance with targets
- Develop and execute strategic plans to achieve sales targets
- Understand industry-specific trends and landscapes
- Take a lead role in the development of presentations and proposals
- Effectively communicate value proposition and service offerings through presentations and proposals
- Build new relationships with customers, and understand their business objectives/needs
- Report on forces that may shift the strategic direction of new accounts and budgets
- Negotiate business terms and contracts with multi-billion dollar retail companies
What we are looking for:
- Bachelor’ s degree in business or management
- Successful track record in B2B sales and negotiation
- Proven experience consistently meeting or exceeding targets
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Working experience with sales techniques
- Experience with CRM software
- Ability to deliver presentations
