Business Development Manager, Workforce Solutions / Staffing Industry
Loctaion: Triad (Greensboro/Winston-Salem/High Point), NC
5+ years staffing industry experience required
Open to relocation - in office role with some flexibility

Our client a privately held workforce solutions firm known for delivering flexible talent and workforce solutions and are expanding their market presence beyond transactional staffing into higher-value, consultative partnerships.
We’re hiring for a Business Development Manager (Market Leader Succession Track) to drive strategic growth in the Triad market, elevate solution selling, and build toward broader market leadership over time.
What you will do:
- Drive new business development across the Triad, targeting mid-market and enterprise clients
- Sell consultative, higher-margin workforce solutions (beyond commodity staffing)
- Build relationships with senior decision-makers and position value/ROI-focused solutions
- Develop and execute a market growth plan informed by competitive intelligence
- Increase brand visibility through local networking and community/business events
- Partner with leadership to learn market operations and prepare for expanded leadership scope
- Collaborate with internal teams to deliver high-quality solutions and client outcomes
What we’re looking for:
- Proven track record winning new accounts in staffing/workforce solutions
- Strong consultative selling skills (outcome-based, value-led conversations vs. price-driven)
- Comfort calling on senior leaders (VP/C-level) and navigating complex buying processes
- High-energy “hunter” mindset with disciplined pipeline management
- Familiarity with the Triad business landscape and ability to build a strong local network
- Leadership ambition and readiness to grow into broader market responsibility
- Solid understanding of staffing economics (margin, pricing strategy, profitable growth)
Required skills:
- New business development (mid-market/enterprise) in staffing or workforce solutions
- Consultative solution selling and executive-level relationship building
- Strategic territory/market planning, pipeline development, and forecasting
- Required education, training, experience
- 5+ years of progressive experience in the staffing/recruiting industry (BD-focused)
- Experience landing and growing mid-market to enterprise accounts
