Director of Business Development, Staffing - Virtual 

4-6   YEARS STAFFING INDUSTRY IN A SALES ROLE 

Can work remotely in the following cities:   DC, Baltimore, Philly, Richmond, Atlanta,  Chicago.

Our client is the nation' s leading Opportunity Talent Placement Firm, connecting forward-thinking companies with a trained talent community to improve long-term business performance, accelerate career growth, and close the Opportunity Divide.   Looking for a  Business Development Director  to support and cultivate a base of Fortune 150 accounts nationally, must be comfortable calling on CHRO, Chief Diversity Officers, CIO, and Director level contacts to place entry to mid level contacts in both IT and F&A roles. 

What you will do:
  • Execute mission-driven strategies to continuously expand corporate and community relationships in target markets that drive positive social impact metrics.
  • Educate clients on fair market wages, skills hiring, and talent retention strategies to drive positive social outcomes.
  • Seek out strategically aligned business opportunities that meet both our talent community placement needs, and talent database growth.
  • Conduct sales meetings and negotiate with stakeholders to secure new corporate partner agreements; supports business by coordinating requirements; developing and negotiating contracts; and integrating contract requirements with program operations.
  • Drive revenue results improvement year over year to meet budget requirements, increased talent placement and specific industry trends in growth and placements.
  • Incorporate best practice standards and client expectations, conduct annual business reviews, penetrate new lines of business, identify opportunities for market expansion, and develop new champions to diversify our engagement within each client.


What we’ re looking for:
  • Minimum 7+ years of professional experience in strategic account management and/or organic account growth to enterprise-level accounts; client growth examples encouraged.
  • Minimum 2+ year of professional sales presentation experience in both speaking and presentation design; written presentation examples encouraged.
  • Minimum 2+ years of clientship negotiations related to pricing, program design, implementation, and on-going support.
  • Sales training or industry-driven sales certifications desired.
  • High school diploma or equivalent is required.
  • Non-profit experience and or volunteer work desired.
