Business Development Director, Life Sciences (HEOR) Staffing 

Fully remote. Travel required for client meetings, industry conferences, and client engagement.

5+ years staffing or life sciences services sales experience required

Are you a high-performing sales professional in life sciences looking to own and grow a market?

Our client is a specialized consulting firm focused on Health Economics & Outcomes Research (HEOR). They are known for delivering high-impact real-world evidence, economic modeling, and value strategy solutions that help biotech, pharma, and medical device companies secure market access and reimbursement.

We’re hiring for a Business Development Director to drive new business and expand client relationships within HEOR and market access services.

What you will do:
  • Build and manage a strong pipeline of HEOR opportunities across biotech, pharma, and medical device clients
  • Identify and target organizations preparing for product launches, payer negotiations, or HTA submissions
  • Develop and execute strategic sales plans to position HEOR solutions (RWE, economic models, value dossiers, etc.)
  • Lead full-cycle sales efforts, navigating complex, multi-stakeholder buying processes
  • Establish and maintain relationships with key stakeholders across Market Access, HEOR, Medical Affairs, and Regulatory teams
  • Represent the company at key industry conferences (ISPOR, AMCP, ISOQOL) to drive visibility and generate leads
  • Stay informed on payer trends, HTA requirements, and evolving HEOR market dynamics


What we’re looking for:
  • Proven “hunter” mindset with a track record of building pipeline and closing new business
  • Experience selling into life sciences organizations, including biotech and pharma
  • Strong understanding of HEOR, market access, or real-world evidence services
  • Ability to navigate complex sales cycles and engage multiple stakeholders
  • Strong relationship-building and consultative selling skills
  • Self-starter who thrives in a remote, high-autonomy environment

Required education, training, experience:
  • Bachelor’s degree required (advanced degree preferred)
  • 5+ years of experience in life sciences services sales
  • Demonstrated success closing complex deals
