Director of Business Development, Staffing  - Remote

Our client is a dynamic startup that specializes in building and managing remote development teams in Mexico and other nearshore locations. With a strong focus on IT and software engineering, contact centers, and healthcare, they help businesses in the United States augment their teams efficiently and cost-effectively. Their client portfolio includes companies in healthcare, insurance, financial services, and technology sectors, with an emphasis on serving mid-sized to large enterprises.

We are seeking an experienced Director of Business Development to lead our client’s growth efforts in the United States. This is a remote position with a strong preference for this person to be located in Texas or Southwest border states. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of successful business development, a deep understanding of the nearshore and offshore outsourcing industry, and a strong network in the targeted sectors.


What you’ll do:
  • Develop and execute a strategic business development plan to expand the client base in the United States.
  • Identify and target potential clients in the healthcare, insurance, financial services, and technology sectors, with a focus on mid-sized to large enterprises.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders in target organizations.
  • Conduct market research to identify trends, opportunities, and potential areas for expansion.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to tailor services to meet the specific needs of clients.
  • Drive the entire sales process, from prospecting and lead generation to closing deals.


What you need:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field (MBA is a plus).
  • Proven experience in business development, with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  • Deep knowledge of the nearshore and offshore outsourcing industry.
  • Familiarity with IT and software engineering, contact centers, and healthcare outsourcing is highly desirable.
  • Strong network of contacts in the targeted sectors and a demonstrated ability to leverage these connections for business growth.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Self-motivated, results-oriented, and able to work independently.
  • Willingness to travel when necessary.
