Our client, a women owned, privately held Healthcare Staffing company that supports post-acute and acute care organizations nationwide with direct care staff, interim leadership, travel nurses, and consulting services is seeking a Director, Acute Care Services to work with a team of talented recruiters and credentialing professionals dedicated to expansion and success.

The Director will maintain an environment of collaboration, motivation and teamwork.  This is an excellent opportunity to lead a division that is poised for significant short-term and long-term growth.   


Position Summary:
  • Reporting to the Chief Operating Officer, the Director, Acute Care Services is responsible for the successful development and operation of the Acute Care Travel Nursing division, including new business development, client account and candidate management, and the full interim placement process.  The Acute Care Leaders team also reports to this position. 
  • Assist with the growth and operations, building and maintaining strong relationships with key decision makers in the acute care market and staying apprised of industry changes and trends.  
  • Responsible for meeting the division's performance targets, including financial outcomes and profitability. 
  • Champion the company’s values and follow all internal policies and procedures. 
  
What you will do: 
  • Lead and direct all functions and systems for the smooth operation of the Acute Care division.
  • Coach and mentor team of recruiters to execute recruiting strategies.
  • Help team reach KPIs and other performance metrics.
  • Drive financial success, profitability and budget compliance.
  • Conduct weekly meetings to review TOA goals and discuss strategies for success.
  • Develop and maintain all internal systems for client and consultant information.
  • Participate in the internal hiring process as the team expands supporting the Acute Care service line.
  • Follow Joint Commission Guidelines and other regulatory requirements.
  • Champion diversity and inclusion throughout the company.
  • Provide training and education for staff including recruiters and credentialing specialists in coordination with internal training offerings.
  • Champion customer satisfaction with clients and staff by proactively soliciting feedback on our services, consistent communication, and intervening and resolving problem situations.
  • Responsible for researching new clients and developing new business with an initial focus on the South Carolina office.
  • Work to establish strong relationships with current and new VMS partners.
  • Promote consistent utilization and best practices while working in the ATS.
  • Educate team members on success driven KPI’s and help them to achieve goals through consistent monitoring and motivation.
  • Promote and support other divisions through active communication, fully documenting updates in Bullhorn (ATS).
 
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree required.
  • Proven success in recruitment or placement-related field as well as ability to obtain/gain knowledge in the acute and post-acute health care field as it relates to the consultant’s placement.
  • Strong technology skills and experience with automating core functions.
  • Demonstrated success in driving accelerated growth in a new start-up business line. 
  • Ability to demonstrate internal and external customer service.
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented with the ability to gather and maintain information into electronic databases so it can be easily shared with the team.
  • Ability to meet tight deadlines while meeting high quality standards.
  • Knowledge of executive level recruitment.
  • Ability to utilize ATS effectively.
  • Knowledge of appropriate credentialing criteria for nurses.
  • Ability to build positive relationships with clients, consultants and staff.

Compensation – mid six figure base with upside incentive.
