Controller - Light Industrial Staffing
Cleveland, OH or Richmond, VA
Our client is a privately held commercial staffing firm headquartered on the East Coast with 15 markets. They are seeking a highly skilled and strategic Controller to join their executive leadership team. This role includes overseeing a back-office team, with a focus on development and scaling to meet expanding business needs.

- Human Resource Management.
- Process Improvement & Compliance.
- Strategic Planning & Analysis.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA or CMA preferred.
- 10+ years of progressive experience in finance or accounting, with a minimum of 5 years in a leadership role.
- Strong knowledge of multi-entity, multi-state payroll, tax filings, and compliance requirements.
- Proven experience in financial reporting, budgeting, and consolidation for multi-entity organizations.
- Familiarity with M&A processes and experience.
- Exceptional analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
- Demonstrated ability to manage and grow high-performing teams.
- Experience working with professional services vendors (insurance, banking, tax advisors, etc.).
