Business Development Executive – Government/Emergency Response Staffing

Compensation: $120,000 - $165,000 base salary plus uncapped commission with anticipated OTE in first year between $500k - $1M.

Location: New York City (3 days hybrid in-office).

As a Business Development Specialist for Government/Emergency Response Staffing, you will spearhead our Emergency Response staffing division, focusing on nurturing relationships with government agencies and response organizations on various levels. Your core responsibilities involve identifying emerging opportunities, tailoring staffing solutions for disaster scenarios, and expanding our presence as a trusted partner during crises. Your strategic contributions will be pivotal in enhancing our network and establishing us as a reliable staffing solution in emergency situations.

What you'll do:

  • Conduct market analysis and devise strategic business development plans for crisis response and recovery staffing services.

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities within government agencies and private disaster response entities at various levels.

  • Lead proposal development and manage contract processes efficiently.

  • Collaborate with internal teams to create scalable staffing models and offer swift, tailored solutions.

  • Cultivate strong relationships with key stakeholders and provide customized staffing solutions for disaster response scenarios.

What you need:

  • MUST HAVE a minimum of 5 years of business development experience, with a focus on emergency management or government relief services.

  • Bachelor's degree (Master's preferred) in a related field.

  • Proven track record in client relationship management and new business acquisition.

  • Expertise in the disaster response and relief industry, including government structures and regulatory frameworks.

  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and organizational skills.

  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, manage multiple priorities, and ensure client satisfaction.
