Senior Business Development Manager - Life Sciences Staffing  - Remote (U.S.-based)

Our client, one of the largest talent and outsourcing providers in the U.S., is seeking a Senior Manager of Business Development to support their Life Sciences practice. In this role, you will partner with emerging clinical organizations, building bridges across the clinical development lifecycle while providing expert consulting and flexible staffing solutions.

This is a remote opportunity focused on business growth and client relationship development within the life sciences industry.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop new business opportunities by identifying and targeting emerging clinical and life science organizations.
  • Utilize a strong understanding of the clinical development lifecycle to offer tailored consulting and staffing solutions.
  • Research prospective clients and build strategic relationships with decision-makers to acquire new accounts.
  • Leverage tactical selling techniques and market intelligence to align services with client needs.
  • Collaborate with recruiters to ensure alignment between client requirements and candidate delivery.
  • Serve as the liaison between recruiters and clients, providing direction and updates on requisitions.
  • Record and manage all sales activity and pipeline progress in CRM systems.

Top Skills You Should Possess:
  • Proven experience selling staffing solutions within the Life Sciences or Clinical Development sectors.
  • Strong understanding of regional business environments and market trends.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills (verbal and written).
  • Effective cold-calling, lead generation, and sales negotiation abilities.
  • Ability to build and manage relationships with C-level executives and senior stakeholders.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and CRM platforms (SharePoint experience a plus).

What You Need to Bring to the Table:
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred, or equivalent experience.
  • 6+ years of successful experience in staffing sales, ideally within the life sciences domain.
  • Demonstrated ability to meet or exceed performance metrics and business development goals.

Compensation range: Depending on Experience 75k-130k with additional commission incentive on top of base.
