Business Development Manager - DC Market - Hybrid
The Business Development Manager has the responsibility to support our client’s overall business and discipline/skill objectives. This individual should position our client as the preeminent source of technical contract labor in the country. The Business Development Manager is responsible for acquiring new clients and growing overall accounts and revenue.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Prioritize overall account and client management to maximize sales.
- Identify and target potential clients.
- Adjust database targets to accommodate market conditions.
- Stay informed on market trends and keep up on hot skills within the discipline.
- Collaborate with an experienced recruiting team to ensure successful fulfillment of staffing needs.
- Leverage personal and company networks to establish connections with C-level executives.
- Attend regular stand-up meetings, demonstrating a collaborative and proactive approach.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree in business required.
- 2+ years in staffing industry; or, combination of education and experience.
- Strong ability to interface with all levels of the organization.
- Excellent verbal and written communications skills is a must.
- Creative, outgoing, energetic person with a demonstrable track record of exceeding goals.
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Solid analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Previous experience working with or staffing for government integrators is a must!
- Proven knowledge of MS Office products, COMPASS, and other software/ATS tools.
- Must be able to commute to the Fairfax, VA office at least a few days a week.
