Business Development Manager, Staffing

Location: 100% remote

3-15 years staffing sales in IT, Engineering, or Finance & Accounting

In business for 22 years, our client is a highly respected certified woman-owned staffing firm specializing in placing IT, Engineering and Finance and Accounting staffing solutions. If you are looking to work for great leaders, have a solid work/life balance, and you want to help grow a business, this is for you!
 
What you’ll do:
  • Prospect and develop a pipeline of potential new clients in your local area.
  • Work closely with stakeholders on their hiring forecasts and needs.
  • Move prospective new clients through the sales cycle through negotiation and closing.
  • Conduct market research and stay abreast of industry trends to capitalize on new client  prospects.
  • Collaborate with an experienced recruiting team to ensure successful fulfillment of staffing needs.
  • Leverage personal and company networks to establish connections with C-level executives.
  • Attend regular stand-up meetings, demonstrating a collaborative and proactive approach.
 
What you need:
  • 3-15 years of successful business development experience within the professional staffing industry.
  • Strong understanding of the staffing industry, with a focus on contract business.
  • Proven track record of growing accounts from the ground up.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to work independently and contribute to a collaborative team environment.
  • Previous experience in a consulting sales approach is highly advantageous.
