Area Branch Manager, Healthcare Staffing
Location: Alabama, Indianapolis, New Jersey preferred; relocation assistance available; must be onsite with regional travel as needed.
5+ years staffing industry experience required

Our client is a nationally recognized healthcare staffing firm known for delivering local, community-based service with the strength and resources of a major brand. With a proven track record of growth, strong operational support, and a focus on quality and compliance, they are expanding existing markets and launching new locations nationwide.
We’re hiring for an Area Branch Manager to oversee branch operations, drive revenue growth, and lead a local team within a high-performance healthcare staffing organization.
What you will do:
- Lead daily operations for one or more corporate healthcare staffing branches
- Build and manage a team of sales, recruiting, and administrative staff
- Oversee P&L performance, ensuring branches meet growth and profitability targets
- Develop strong client relationships with healthcare facilities and physician groups
- Execute aggressive sales and recruiting KPI strategies to drive market share
- Identify opportunities for expansion within assigned region
- Partner with leadership on new business development and market planning
- Maintain compliance with industry credentialing and operational standards
What we’re looking for:
- Proven leadership experience managing a staffing office or territory
- Healthcare staffing strongly preferred (nursing, allied, physician, or ambulatory care verticals)
- Track record of exceeding sales, margin, and operational KPIs
- Entrepreneurial spirit with the discipline to execute structured sales and recruiting plans
- Financial management skills (budgets, forecasts, margin optimization)
- Ability to drive branch culture, retention, and performance in fast-moving environments
- Strong local market knowledge or ability to ramp up quickly
- Experience working with corporate support functions (HR, compliance, marketing)
Required skills:
- 5+ years staffing industry experience, with at least 2+ years managing a team or branch P&L
- Excellent communication and client-facing skills
- CRM/ATS experience preferred
- Solid recruiting acumen combined with sales and market development skills
- Required education, training, experience:
- Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent practical experience
- Formal leadership or sales training programs a plus
What you get:
- Base salary of $100,000–$120,000 DOE
- Uncapped commission structure (total earnings potential $150,000+ first year)
