Account Executive, IT or Finance & Accounting Staffing - Hybrid, DC Metro Area

5+ years Staffing Sales Experience Required!

We are seeking a highly motivated and results-oriented Account Executive to join our client’s growing firm specializing in IT and Accounting & Finance staffing solutions. As an Account Executive, you will play a pivotal role in expanding their client base and driving revenue growth. This is an excellent opportunity to join a small boutique-style start-up with a track record of success and a vision for further scaling in the industry.

What you’ll do:
  • Generate new business opportunities by proactively identifying and engaging potential clients in the IT or Finance sectors.
  • Conduct market research to identify industry trends, competitor activities, and potential target markets.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their staffing needs, and presenting tailored solutions.
  • Negotiate contracts and close deals while ensuring customer satisfaction and long-term partnerships.
  • Meet and exceed sales targets and key performance indicators (KPIs) within assigned territories or market segments.

What you need:
  • Proven track record in sales, preferably in the staffing industry, with at least 5 years of experience.
  • Strong expertise in selling IT or F&A staffing services, with a deep understanding of the respective job functions and market demands.
  • Exceptional communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build rapport and influence stakeholders at various organizational levels.
  • Self-motivated, results-driven, and comfortable working in a dynamic and fast-paced start-up environment.
  • Ability to thrive in challenging situations, adapt to changing circumstances, and seize opportunities.
  • Experience in managing client relationships and delivering high-quality customer service.
