Account Manager, IT Staffing - Remote

3-10 years IT staffing experience required

Location: Remote, with regular visits to priority cities including Columbus, Cincinnati, Cleveland, Birmingham, Atlanta, Dallas, San Antonio, Chicago, Pittsburgh, and other relevant locations.

Our client is a rapidly growing firm founded in Columbus that has achieved $100 million in revenue within four years, specializing exclusively in Banking and Financial Services. Their team is composed of seasoned professionals with extensive knowledge and experience in the industry.

We are seeking a dynamic and results-oriented Account Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in sales, particularly in Banking, Financial Services, and IT staffing. This role is perfect for an individual who enjoys the thrill of business development, has a proven track record of success, and is ready to contribute to the growth of a small yet high-impact organization.

 

What you’ll do:
  • Manage and expand relationships with existing clients that have agreements in place but need to be developed from the ground up.
  • Identify and target potential clients within Banking and Financial Services for new business development opportunities.
  • Conduct market research and stay abreast of industry trends to capitalize on new business prospects.
  • Collaborate with an experienced recruiting team to ensure successful fulfillment of staffing needs.
  • Leverage personal and company networks to establish connections with C-level executives.
  • Attend regular stand-up meetings, demonstrating a collaborative and proactive approach.

 

What you need:
  • 3-10 years of successful business development experience, preferably in Banking, Financial Services, and IT staffing.
  • Strong understanding of the staffing industry, with a focus on contract business.
  • Proven track record of independently landing and growing key accounts.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to work independently and contribute to a collaborative team environment.
  • Previous experience in a consulting sales approach is highly advantageous.
  • Tech sales experience, especially in App Development, is a significant plus.
