Senior Account Executive - IT Cyber Security and Managed Services

Virtual Role with Maryland, DC and Northern VA Territory 

Our client is a privately held IT Solutions firms with offices in DC, VA Beach and the Carolinas with practice areas in Security, Data Center and Managed Services. 

This role is specifically focused on selling our Cyber Security solutions offerings. 

Looking for a results-driven sales representative to actively seek out and engage customer prospects for our Security and Managed Services practices. You will provide complete and appropriate solutions for every customer in order to boost top-line revenue growth, customer acquisition levels and profitability.

Requirements:
  • Proven experience selling Cyber security solutions to the private sector 
  • Proven work experience as a sales representative in the field of information technology with security and/or managed services a plus.
  • Experience in territory management across a large number of accounts and industries throughout the northern Virginia, DC, and Maryland markets (DC Metro). This is a hunter role in the upper-end of mid-market accounts.
  • Highly motivated and target driven with a proven track record in sales.
  • Excellent prospecting, selling, communication and negotiation skills.
  • Prioritizing, time management and organizational skills.
  • Ability to create and deliver presentations tailored to the audience needs.
  • Relationship management skills and openness to feedback.

Responsibilities:
  • Analyze the territory/market’ s potential across industries and work with marketing and management to develop optimal target for prospects.
  • Be a strong prospector with the ability to hunt for new customers or expand firm' s managed security services within dormant accounts.
  • Engage proper resources within firm to properly qualify and scope opportunities.
  • Achieve agreed upon sales targets and outcomes within schedule.
  • Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; participating in professional societies.

Compensation - Six figure base with aggressive commission structure.
